MICHAEL GOLDEN ART FROM DEFENDERS 54 PAGE 14 PENCILS: MICHAEL GOLDEN INKS: BOB MCLEOD FEATURES HULK, SUB-MARINER, NIGHTHAWK AND HELLCAT MARVEL COMICS 1977 I have up for auction a nice page from Defenders 54, published in December of 1977. Impressive art by Michael Golden with exceptional inks by Bob McLeod. Every panel has a hero in it with the page presenting images of the Hulk, Sub-Mariner, Nighthawk and the Hellcat. Golden art is rare when it comes to mainstream Marvel characters as most of his effort was put into non-hero books like The 'Nam or off-mainstream titles like Micronauts, but when you can find a page it is always a thing of beauty. Art is in typical condition from that period with top corners being clipped, small amount of tape at the top and bottom. Marvel stamped on the back of the page. No stats or paste ups on the page, it is all original art. Scan of the issue cover is only for reference and issue not included with auctionAll items come from a smoke free, pet free home.Please take a look at my other auctions this week and next for some hard to find Marvel Hardcovers..Shipping will be $18.00.
