Michael Jordan 86-87 1986 Fleer RC Rookie SGC 98 Pop 1 GEM MINT. This is quite possibly the finest card we have ever offered for sale at Rose-City. It is the ONLY SGC 98 1986-87 Fleer Jordan Rookie Card. SGC is considered by many to be the hardest and most consistant grading company in the industry. In over 20 years, they have only deemed one Fleer Jordan as Gem Mint. Compare that to Beckett which has now graded 92 Gem Mint MJ's and PSA which has graded 127 10's. SGC has rapidly been on the rise and bringing incredible values lately on vintage issues. For example the last PSA 9 1951 Bowman Mantle RC sold for $40,200 (Ebay item #190165737178) and the last SGC 96 1951 Mantle sold for $162,412. PSA 10 Jordan's sell for around $5,000. So if a Mantle in the same grade from SGC brings 4x PSA's value, then shouldn't an SGC 98 Jordan RC be worth $20,000? We do not use S&H or added insurance to unethically profit off of our customers. These are our actual costs. Optional insurance is available for more expensive items at a rate of $2 per hundred of insurance. Each additional item won is $1. If additional insurance isn't purchased we will not be held liable for lost packages over $400 in value. Sorry, we do not ship SASE or allow local pick ups. All of our packages withthe value of $400 USD or less are sent with USPS delivery confirmation to ensure all parties involved are covered. Anything over $400 USD in value will be shipped Signature confirmation. This means you will have to be present to sign for the package, or go down to the post office and pick it up. All other shipping methods can be accommodated at the buyers request and cost. International shipping is now $25.00 USD as it is more expensive to track international packages, and tracking has become an issue. All International shipments will be sent USPS Global express.
