-THE COLLECTION SPORTIF- Michael Owen's Worn 2003 England National Team Shirt Worn by Michael Owen on Wednesday, April 2 2003 v. Turkey in the ECQ Qualifier You are bidding on a unique one of a kind item. Up for auction is Michael Owen's worn England National Team shirt from the April 2, 2003 ECQ Match between England & Turkey at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland. This was the first of two very important meetings between England & Turkey. Michael was in the starting 11, and ended up leaving the match in the 58th minute after sustaining an injury. He was replaced by Darius Vassel who ended up scoring England's first goal. The shirt itself is quite a special piece, and authentication details are as follows: - The shirts worn by the England players fro this period have several features that seperate them from Official England Umbro replicas, including: Player shirts are single sided, non-reversible. All replicas produced by Umbro in this style were reversible. For some time, England has maintained a tradition of providing match shirts with match day details. You will find at the bottom front of this jersey match details for the evening in which it has been worn. The construction of the shirt is of a much higher quality than you would find on replicas. Player shirts have a stitched down collar w/ larger mesh inserts for better breathability. The shirt is also lightweight, single layer construction. This shirt is Michael's preferred size Large. Player shirts are of a slimmer cut than replicas. The shirt carries every characteristic you would expect in a genuine player shirt of this style. Bidding starts at just $1 w/ no reserve price. This is simply to encourage bidding, and in no way reflects the value of this piece. I encourage you to place your bids early and often, as I am always discussing my items w/ other collectors and the item may sell. AUCTION DETAILS (PLEASE READ) PAYMENT: Paypal is the most commonly used payment method, but I am also open to cashier's checks & money orders. I will accept a personal check from an ebay member in good standing, and under the condition that I am contacted prior to your bid being placed to receive my approval. Any form of payment sent by mail must clear before I will ship your item. SHIPPING: I ship all items via USPS. If a buyer requires another method of delivery, I request that I be contacted prior to your bid being placed. All shipping rates are provided as flat rates. All rates I have listed are fair, and may include handling costs. I will do my best to have your item shipped in a timely manner, however t may be times when delays will occur. I generally do my best to get an item out the door within 1-5 business days. GENERAL INFORMATION : All items are sold as-is. All sales are final unless I grossly misrepresent an item, in which case I will do my best to work with the buyer reasonably. The auction format is similar to that of a "garage sale" or an "estate sale"....returns are not accepted, all sales final. Of course, if I happen to send the wrong item or if my auction description clearly shows that I misrepresented the item I will do everything within reason to correct the situation.
