I am selling a very rare vintage, J A MICHELL "TRANSCRIPTOR" turntable. It has all the original parts including the TRANSCRIPTOR fluid reference tonearm. I found this item a couple of years ago on a trip to Europe, it is 100% complete (except for the perspex lid that was broken while in shipping), but is in need of restoration. Before dismantling the deck for shipping, I saw the deck working with my own eyes. It wouldn't take too much time or money to have this rare, classic turntable re assembled and working again. The condition of the black plexy base is very good with no scratches or chips, and all the aluminum will clean up really well, the whole thing is just dusty at the moment as it has been sat in my closet for almost 2 years now.
There is an identical working transcriptor turntable on eBay right now for $1900.00. This is your chance to own one for much much less. I will carefully wrap the deck for transportation, and Include insurance, and guarantee that the item has all the parts included, but due to the items condition, this will be an AS IS sale.
Shipping will be $25.00 anywhere within the Continental U.S, Over seas bidders email for shipping costs.
I accept check but prefer paypal.
Thanks and .

I was looking around on the internet, and I have found a place that supplies spares for the Michell Transcriptor turntables.
