Notre Dame vs. Michigan State "Game of the Century" Game Program from 1966. There are some "yellowing" spots which I have tried to show in photo's and the center page with the team players names and positions is no longer attached to staples - there are a couple small tears on the page edge - very small. This is the game program from one of college football's most famous (and for some, most controversial) games, the 6-6 tie in 1966 between No. 1 Notre Dame and No. 2 Michigan State. Coach Ara Parseghian brought his Fighting Irish, led by quarterback Terry Hanratty and defensive lineman Alan Page, into East Lansing this November Day against Duffy Daugherty's Spartans, anchored by mammoth defensive lineman Bubba Smith. The undefeated teams played to the 10-10 tie, with Notre Dame ending up being declared 1966 National Champs by the AP and Coaches Polls, ahead of both Michigan State and undefeated Alabama.
