This is a Mickey Mantle Bobble-Head Doll. These dolls were originally issued between 1961 and 1963. This one has a white square base with facsimile signature and is part of the first comprehensive series of Major League Baseball bobble heads. The series included examples from 20 different franchises with several variations. It featured nine dolls with mascot heads and four dolls of actual players: Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Willie Mays, and Roberto Clemente. This doll has the original picture box, brown wrapping paper, "made in japan" sticker, and cardboard neck guard. IT HAS NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED. Other than a couple of minor paint flaws on the cap, this doll is in excellent condition! There are more photos here: /photos/photocat/
