Mickey Mouse 1930's prototype 9 inch tall coin bank
Unpainted - all original - Very Rare No Reserve!....... 1930's Mickey Mouse Metal Coin Bank... I have never seen this particular piece before and it may very well be a prototype for a licensed bank but am not certain. It came in an original collection with other Mickey Mouse items that I will also be listing on ebay.... It is a vintage aluminum coin bank in the likeness of Mickey Mouse, circa 1930s, 9" tall and made of aluminum and is unpainted. A nut on the back unscrews to allow the body to separate in halves and the money to be retrieved. In Excellent condition with light surface wear and some rust to the bolt on back.... $12.00 to ship Priority insured anyw in the USA (outside the USA - please contact me for costs). If you win more than one item, I will combine shipping to save on cost.... *Current value is Unknown Enjoy and have fun bidding BUT please understand that I will protect the integrity of this auction. All items are Guaranteed to be authentic Check, cashier's check, Money Order, or Pay Pal is accepted. The question was asked if it is aluminum for certain. Actually I am not sure but the metal is light in weight, very strong and very clean. An expert said it was aluminum and so I am going with his opinion.... The nut that holds on the back is a different metal because t is a little rust t This is very, very unique and I have never seen, nor heard of such an example as this.... Note: I own the actual bank that was either the final model or final prototype, as it is identical to this offering but is made of a metal that I cannot identify (extremely heavy - seven pounds! But not lead), is painted, but has no nut at the back.
