This 1963 Mickey Mouse Club Lunch Box is being offered for you today. Made by Aladdin Industries, It was the first Mickey Mouse Club Box made, although the original Club House closed in 1959. The show was later aired in syndication as an after school production. The popularity of the show initiated the creation of this this 1963 Box. This finely detailed box is the embossed version. The colors are bright and it has the much desired wet look. The rim wear is minimal on the front panel and all of the sides. The back panel has more rim wear, but no more than expected for a box this old and for it being the back panel. Note: Front Panel - the hands of one of Donald Duck's nephews has had the paint scraped away. Back Panel - the edge of "Tommy's" arms have also had the paint scraped away. This type of thing happens more on embossed boxes. Each of these are not very noticable, but you should know this and look carefully at the pictures. The inside of the box has some staining from having crayons being toted back and forth, but no rust. The handle, hinge, and latch work perfectly. T are no rust areas, dings or dents on this box. The Thermos Bottle is also a Mickey Mouse Club bottle, BUT it is not the matching bottle. This bottle being offered is from the reissued 1967 Mickey Mouse Club set. This set was also produced by Aladdin Industries. read more
