Mickey Mouse Postcard #4 - Mickey Mouse running with Minnie holding roses with a traffic cop holding back cars & motorcycle so they can safely cross. John Wills is the artist, signature in lower left. Wills was an innovative artist & responsible for numerous Mickey postcards in the early 1930s. He had a unique vision of Mickey Mouse & was not guided by the restrictions of Walt Disney & the Disney Studio. This card is artist signed on the right side edge. Publisher not identified on the back but t is a code number 4379. I believe all of the cards by this artist were printed in Germany circa 1932-1934. Card is crisp, clean & unused. The card layout & format is easily identified as the work of John Wills & he especially favored using multiple images of Mickey using different color shorts & shoes to distinguish one from another. Selling more cards from a great collection of comic character postcards including 22 Mickey Mouse all on eBay March 20th to March 30th. NO RESERVE. IMPORTANT!!!!
