Mickey and Pluto Limited Edition Gold Seal Disney Serigraph from the Original Pointer Art A Disney limited edition Gold Seal Serigraph-- Professionally framed and matted---ready to hang. This limited edition has been sold out some time ago. The frame size is 18 X 22 inches and the cell is 11 X 14 inches. A beautiful vivid picture of Micky and Pluto. The original cel has been enhanced with a lovely matching background and color frame--artistically and professionally done by an art store. Fits anyw in your home. In the 1940's animated films were comprised of thousands of hand painted cels. When photographed in sequence they gave the illusion of motion. A serigraph cel or sericel utilizes a fine are process (silk screening) to recreate the look and feel of the original hand painted cels used in making the original film. As many as 15 screens were typically used, one for each color. The result is an original work of art and each is produced in limited numbers (limited edition). The screens were then destroyed.
