TO BABYDAZE NURSERY Art Dolls by Marija Carroll .................................... Introducing Mini Bundle Baby Shown in 12th scale baby crib to get idea of size. Crib not part of the auction. Baby shown beside a 2p coin to get an idea of scale Adorable little baby head/face sculpted freehand by myself and no moulds have been used in her creation. This type of baby has no body as such, it is just a head on a soft torso and wrapped in blankets and is known as a bundle baby. In days of old, poor mothers used to make these dollies for their children from a bundle of rags and a potato for a head! She has been painted and blushed using heat set paints and her sculpted and lace trimmed hat and cuddle shawl are not removable. She has a teeny tiny dummy which is removable and she measures just 2" in total to the bottom of her fringed shawl. Under her shawl she measures a tiny 1.5" (4 cms) Pictures are magnified to show detail. Many hours and much pleasure go into creating my babies so if you like this little one please bid as she can never be reproduced.
