This is the official pin used by the members of the Olympic Team from MICRONESIA who participated in the Summer Olympic Games held in ATHENS in 2004. This elegant, bright gold pin in the shape of a seashell is made in true cloisonne, has an original military clutch closure and features a Pacific scallop shell and the Olympic rings. Dated for Athens . . . excellent condition. A challenge for collectors to find in Athens due to the very small size of the Micronesian Team. Truly one of the best-looking pins in Athens.
