It is a genuine Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 USB model. We are close to the Microsoft campus in Redmond, Washington, have access to them regularly, and have sold hundreds of these to customers all over the world. Because we sell so many, we have become experts with refurbishing them to like-new condition.You won't be receiving some kid's throwaway toy. This joystick has been expertly maintained. The gear lubrication has been redistributed and the mechanisms tightened. There are no belts to wear out and the joystick will last a very long time.The power requirements are universal - it will work anywhere in the world with the proper plug (no transformer required). The standard US plug is supplied but can be replaced with one that will work in your country (you need to supply your own non-US plug).The software disks shown are the only ones we have available, are not included, and are only necessary if you are using anything prior to Windows XP. Windows XP and later OS versions already have the drivers built-in and there is no need to install the drivers (the drivers on the disks are antiquated and won't install anyway).
