I don't know much about food or pickle jars except I have always appreciated the multi-sided Cathedral, Arched Windows with sunken panels. I have one up for grabs. It is the smallest I have ever seen measuring only 6 1/2 inches tall. It has a double ringed neck and an tooled outward, rolled lip. The glass is aqua with no chips dings cracks or bruises or potstones. It has (6) six sides with sunken panels and arched tri-windows above each panel. I have provided many pictures for your viewing. I will provide more if you need them. This bottle is very crudely made with lots of whittle. I am not sure what type of bottom but am leaning toward a key mold. The applied neck is twisted nicely. It is a realy great bottle with no identifying marks. It does have an embossed dot in the middle of the base. The bottle could use a good cleaning. It does have some mineral deposits (sickness) on the inside. I have not attempted to clean this bottle. The line coming down from the lip is a bubble not a crack. T is one scratch in one panel. No reserve and low starting point. Good luck. Could this be an ink? Someone has suggested to me this is a cathedral ink bottle not a pickel of sauce. Another has mentioned it is a tooled lip rather than a rolled lip. I am not an expert but still believe this is pickle or sauce bottle with a rolled lip, outward. read more
