DESCRIPTION Superb mid century Danish modern extending teak dining table made in Denmark and designed by Johannes Andersen. This table has beautiful wood grain and color and two self-storing leaves which can be extended to a huge 102" long. Each leaf can be extended separately for flexible seating. Extremely well crafted with sculpted and tapered solid teak legs and curved edges give this table an organic look which Johannes Andersen is noted for. A wood undercarriage that makes this table very sturdy even with leaves extended. The legs are easily removeable for transporting. Unmarked. From the 1960's. Low opening bid and no reserve. Pictured with eight Johannes Andersen dining chairs which are up for auction separately. DIMENSIONS When closed the table is 63" long by 35 1/2" wide by 28" tall. With both leaves open it's 102 1/4" long. With one leaf extended, it's 82 1/2". CONDITION Excellent vintage condition, very clean. No cracks or chips to the wood or veneer, all the joints are tight.
