*****Just in time for the Holiday's**** A Fabulous Teak Table: Thin, Elegant Profile!
This table is of the very highest quality. Beautifully grained golden-red solid teak and teak veneer. Oval tabletop measures about 37 inches by 59 inches before extension. Fully extended measurement is 77 inches long. Finishing detail on construction is excellent, from the sculpted bullnose edge of the tabletop, to the finished top edges of the base, to the fully teak-veneered underside. The butterfly leaf mechanism on this table is the most ingenious I've seen. The base stays stationary while tabletop splits and pulls smoothly apart, exposing folded leaf stored underneath. Leaf easily unfolds and pivots into precise position on hinged mechanism, then two top pieces lock into place. This is the only dining table I've ever found (and t have been many) that truly can be easily extended and collapsed by a single person. Constructed of solid teak and high-quality teak veneer. In excellent vintage (most likely 1960's) condition, with absolutely no chips, cracks, scratches, splits, veneer loss, etc. Round seal on underside of leaf: "Furniture by MacIntosh." Shipping: Local pickup is available in San Diego, CA area. Delivery available for small fee to most of Southern California; ask for quote. Otherwise, winning bidder will be required to arrange for own shipping-- I'd recommend Plycon or Craters and Freighters, and I can drop off at local outlet. Buyer must make shipping arrangements within 2 weeks of close of auction. Winning bidder pays actual S/H/I
