Up for auctions is this Classic Mid C entury ORIGINAL E ero Saarin en d esign ed chair, built by KNOLL. An icon of mid-c entury mod ern d esign. With th e original Knoll lab els compl et ely in tac k. This chair is v ery sturdy and tight and oth er than a couple minor t ears and some scuffing on th e original blac k vinyl cov ering, it is in good to v ery good condition. Th e b ent wood l egs ar e laminat ed walnut. On e l eg is slightly scuff ed. Pl eas e r ef er to th e clos e-up imag es (lin k below) for th e most accurat e r epr es entation of th e chair's condition. This chair d esign us ed pion ee re d molding t echniqu e to cr eat e th e continuous curv es of its profil e. Th e walnut v en ee r b ent wood l egs w er e also th e high styl e of th e tim e. N ew v ersions of this chair ar e availabl e at $1400 a copy, but this ORIGINAL chair is availabl e at a far low er r es erv e pric e.
