This mid-century enamel on copper art was made by Mary Lou Morse. Who died in March 2011 at the age of 94. She started doing enamel on copper in 1951 while she lived in Los Angeles. The piece measures 7-3/4"D x 3/4"H and is in excellent condition with no damages of any kind. .Mary Lou MorsePainter (acrylic, watercolor, serigraph); Enamel on copper: Mosaic. Born in 1916, Spokane, Washington. Studied University of Washington; Seattle Art Academy; Grant Beach School (Los Angeles); private instruction with Howard Bradford. Exhibited: Riverside Art Center; Lyon Gallery, University of Redlands. Participated in juried shows in Southern California; Monterey Jazz Festival; Church of the Wayfarer (Camel) and Naval Postgraduate School (Monterey) Religious Art Annuals. Has assisted Margaret Barlow and Millard Sheets in architectural enamel installations and has executed commissions for homes and buildings.
