These 6 Franciscan ware bowls, in the TRIO pattern, are not one of the common motifs one associates with the Franciscan style of dinner ware from 1940 to 1950.The absrtact flowers, in green and brown, are elegant in their simplicity. The bowls measure 6.5" × 6.5" and are 1.75" tall: Calling for either salad or soup. You decide.Used, but never "used," these bowls will enhance a collection of TRIO you might need or want. Pictures 7 and 9 show manufacturer defects: either a faded area or a blotch on a leaf. I lost most of my twelve piece setting. I am selling what remains. Only the dinner plates are used.
