We haven't found a better coffeemaker than this mid-century vintage chrome "fattie" from General Electric! The 9-cup automatic percolator is Model 18P40 and is in gorgeous BARELY used condition! It's complete with the inside basket, orange filter, stem and detachable black cloth cord with red highlights. The coffeemaker measures 9 1/8" from countertop to the top of the glass lid insert/handle and not quite 6 1/2" outside diameter. The little logo design in our second photo appears on two sides of the coffee pot. The water measurements for 4, 6, 8 and 9 cups are on the inside of the pot, and you can easily adjust the brew strength under the handle. The previous owner's name is etched into the bakelite base on the bottom, but I didn't even see this until my THIRD examination! Except for this and a bit of light cleaning scratching on the lid, the pot looks and works like new! FOR MORE!
