Up for auction is this late 1960s era Mid Century Modern Knoll dining room set. This is a nice large set with 8 matching swivel tulip chairs and a large oval table. T are two arm chairs and six side chairs. Designed by Eero Saarinen this designer set was just acquired out of a local Midwest estate. The large oval table measures approx. 77 1/2 inches long by 48 inches across. It stands about 29 inches tall. The chairs are very sturdy, comfortable and quite roomy. The condition is very good given its age. I can find no chips or real damage to speak of. It has only minor expected wear. T are a couple light scratches on the table top and some paint wear on the base. It is actually in much better condition than you would expect. The chairs retain all of their original cushions which are in excellent condition with no holes or tears. They cushions show very little wear and the entire set was certainly well cared for. I am very easy to find right off of exit 59 of the Ohio Turnpike. I would be willing to store this for a couple months if that would help you to better plan a trip to the Toledo, Ohio area and personally pick up your set. All I would ask is that you put about 1/2 down at the completion of the auction and the balance would be due at pick up. NO RESERVE! GOOD LUCK! Thanks! Jeff
