Circa 1950's Marx five-piece, O-gauge Santa Fe passenger train set. All pieces are lithographed sheet metal with tinplate-type wheels. The main colors are aluminum and red. Includes #21 motorized A-unit, #21 dummy A-unit, two #3152 Santa Fe coach cars and one #3197 Santa Fe observation car. All-original and complete with no missing small parts. The following are my ratings of the cosmetic condition with age taken into consideration. The motorized A has a few light scratches and condition is excellent. The dummy A has one small dent on the back roof and is excellent. The cars have some very light scratches and rub-marks, primarily on the roofs, some light wheel rust and minimal rust on the trucks. I rate the cars as very good condition. All colors are still bright and the lettering is excellent. I briefly powered up the motor. It operated at fast and slow speeds and reversed. (Due too age, if the train is to be operated for a length of time, the motor should be cleaned and properly lubricated.) I acquired this set about 20 years ago from the original owner, and it has been packed away since then. The shipping info shown below is a close pre-packing estimate. Actual shipping charged from 44281(northern Ohio). No handling charge. I will send an invoice with the total due. Thanks
