This is a quality piece from sometime in the 50's? I came across the photo by coincidence in a book or magazine published in the 50's, but I have lost the exact title. The frame has zig-zag springs under the seat, and both the seat and back cushions have springs, not just foam. This chair in in great condition considering its age. No broken springs, but the foam overlay in the cushions is so old it has turned to powder and needs to be replaced, same with the arms. The frame is in good condition and has just two issues - some surface rust right rear corner area, as shown in close-up, and right rear leg is missing the glide, which you can also see in the photos. Upholstery has no tears, arms show some fraying on the piping and significant darkening from use. but of course the upholstery needs a cleaning if you do not intend to replace it.. I have not attempted this myself, because I assume most people will want to reupholster anyway. Local pickup preferred, but will work with you if you want to use a pack/ship service
