NO RESERVE! HUGE Mid Century Modern Chrome ARC Floor Lamp Up for auction is an absolutely stunning Mid Century Modern arc floor lamp. This original circa 1960âe(tm)s piece features a solid marble base, sleek arched chrome arm, and white plastic sp shade. The base of this lamp is constructed of a single piece of very heavy marble, beige and cream with beautiful rust orange veining. It measures 13 1⁄4âe across and 3âe tall. The telescoping chrome arc extends from a chrome ball at the base that both swivels side to side, and allows the arc to bend forward and backward. At its tallest with the arm fully extended, the lamp reaches 7 1⁄2âe tall, while it is about 6âe tall when the arm is compact. At the end of the arc is the plastic globe ball diffuser which measures 15âe across. This amazing vintage lamp is in very good to excellent original condition. The base is solid with no edge chips âe" just a tiny divot on top thatâe(tm)s barely noticeable and may be natural. The chrome is very clean and shiny with minimal age noted, and the shade has a couple very light scratches but no cracks or other damage noted. The cord has one small area of wear (taped) and included with the lamp is a dimmer as shown.
