Beautiful and iconic Kofod Larsen Penguin Rocking Chair, in it's original finish and knobby soft tweed fabric. The chair is in nice condition - just marks here and there, especially on the wheat finished feet. The black iron frame has very minimal oxidation. The original soft tweed fabric has only a bit of discoloration in the front from water being dripped on it from the store I bought it at, sitting outside under an awning during rain. It is very hard to see except when bright studio lights are blasting it but this just happened and it should go away with use. The right rocker wood foot appears to have been made from two pieces of wood because there is jointing of the wood but this was done at the factory. There are some surface scratches and marks on the back and on the side of the 7 ply wood chair back, so please look at the pictures carefully, please enlarge them. The chair measures 30" tall at the top of the back from the floor and 33" from rocker foot tip to back. The seat is 21.5" deep x 18" wide approximately. The seat back is 21.5" wide from curved arm to curved arm. You can also purchase the original advertisement for this chair on ebay. Just type in Kofod Larsen into the search engine.
