D I M E N S I O N S - Overall: 56 7/8 w x 18 1/2 d x 69 h in. Top section: 56 7/8 w x 11 1/2 d x 40 1/2 h in. Depth when desktop fully extended: 35 1/2 in. Desktop height: 30 5/8 in. D E S C R I P T I O N - Handsome secretary/desk with hutch from c. 1950's Sweden. Crafted of rich crotch and ribbon mahogany with Gustavian style accents, this piece has it all! Loads of bookshelf space, a large desktop and ample storage below with shelving perfect for a printer, fax, scanner, you name it. (How do you think they knew we would need storage for such things over 40 years ago??) What a perfect all-in-one office! This piece does not diassemble and will need to be shipped via Blanket Shipper or Freight Carrier. Please see specifics below under "Shipping." C O N D I T I O N - Because we are direct importers, we are able to bring you quality antiques and vintage items at the most reasonable prices possible. Please note, however, that antiques and vintage items are not new and will show varying degrees of age and wear (i.e. patina, nicks, dings, etc.) We do our best to describe each item in detail, but we often do not overstate obvious signs of normal age and wear that are innt in these items. Wood pieces often experience some sort of cracking or warping due to changes in climate, hydration or dehydration. If they occur at all, they are usually minor stress cracks which are structurally insignificant and cosmetically appealing. Painted pieces will often show natural distressing from use and can often show a bit of age or separation as is normal in antique painted furniture. We will make every effort to point out and photograph extreme cases of distressing, chipped, worn or damaged finishes. Also, we have the ability to touch up any of these areas for you before we ship, should you wish. Please note that handcrafted items can vary slightly in size. We will make every effort to point out any significant variances to you. Dimensions are usually rounded to the nearest 1/4". S H I P P I N G - We offer shipping as a courtesy to our buyers and go to great lengths to insure that we ship your purchase in the safest and most cost effective way possible. You are also welcome to pick up your purchase from our warehouse in Atlanta . Buyers are responsible for all packing and shipping costs. Please allow at least seven to ten days for your items to be processed and packed. Depending on mode of delivery, shipping can take anyw from one to six weeks after leaving our warehouse.
