This is a middle-20th-century Navajo rug from the Wide Ruins area. All hand-spun wool with beautiful muted vegetal dye and natural wool colors. Very high quality - tightly woven - bands have alternating color "twill" weave. Excellent condition - could use general cleaning. All edge binding is intact and all four tassles are present with minor unraveling at one corner. No holes. 39 X 50 inches.
