Offered this auction is a MIDDLE EASTERN MID CENTURY PERSIAN ARABIAN SILVER JEWELED SLIPPER. Measures 6" x 2" in great condition. Out of the stories of Arabian nights came many collectible items from the desert countries, including these Persian slippers with many different uses. This one happens to have been an ash tray for the period, but it also has the look of arabian nights with the jeweled elements, long fabric draped rooms, persian rugs, open balconies to the moon light and views of the desert with sheiks riding in on beautiful arabian horses. This came the stories from the beautiful countries of the desert in the 1950's. Insurance required on this item.....please add to final invoice or request final invoice to include insurance.
