You are bidding on a set of 12 Antique Figural Forks. CHECK MY SITE I will have the matching spoons listed as well and I will combine shipping. I am not an expert so Please look the photo's over carefully and bid accordingly and I will describe the best I can... I picked them up at an Estate Sale and the people said they found them up in the attic and they are thought to be very old as they were left in the house when they bought it 30 years ago so I am unsure of the age... You will get the 12 Forks shown. and a old cardboard box that has wear and some tape on it with kind of velvety inside and leather look outside.. Box is stamped inside Serie V - AB ... I am not sure if they are Cocktail, Pickle, Oyster, Lobster, Seafood, Lemon or Dessert Forks ??... They are approx 4-3/4" long and one tine is a little wider than the rest... ornate twisted centers.. they are marked with 2 hallmarks that I can not make out and the 3rd mark is 90...I am not sure what Grade of Silver this represents ? German Nickel ?.... each piece weighs approx 8.5 to 9.0 dwt on a little electric scale.(I think pennyweight) variations in weight depends on the size of the very detailed Gothic Knight looking figures... They are very detailed and hard to capture with a photo... they are carrying various swords, knife, cross, scroll, axe etc.. even the robes have different patterns on the backs... Not sure if they are for a Religious or Fraternal organization or what ??... at the very least they are unusual... I left the patina on them but I am sure they would clean very nice as I cleaned a little spot on one near a hallmark and it shined up Great...
