A 1950's Radio With The Cold War CD Markings On The Dial This is a Mignon Six Transistor Radio right out of the 50's. This set has the CD triangles at 640 and 1240 on the dial. It is made of high impact plastic and has a very decorative gold trim. It is made in Japan. Size is 5" x 3" x 1 ½" T are no cracks or chips visible on the case. It is tested and is working. It uses a 9 volt battery but the clip are for a battery that is not readily available. If the connectors are modified it will operate from a standard 9V transistor battery. The insides are clean and it shows no indication of battery leakage. This radio displays very well and is a throwback to the cold war days.
