The dinner plates, and salad plates, are in lightly used condition, and in phenominal cosmetic condition if factoring in age of this vintage pattern that was discontinued in 1978... Cosmetic appearance appears as an occasional holiday use set. Utilsel and/or stacking marks to surface/finish, even under the reflection of a bright light, is very reasonable, with the only real difference from new is some dulling/rubbing of the high gloss glaze in the basin of the plates, mostly confined to the basin area w the plates stack/ touch the basin of the plate beneath it... This is not something one notices under normal lighted conditions, but can be seen if you manipulate the plate side to side under the reflection of a bright light. Overall, these remain excellant high quality replacements for this rare and hard to find Mikasa pattern, and will go a long way towards
