Mikimoto 21" Double Strand Graduated Pearl Necklace
(I have added a photo of the back of the clasp!) Longer strand is 21 1/4" from tip of clasp to tip of clasp, so I am calling it 21" wearable when one part of the clasp is inside the other part of the clasp. On the first strand there are 100 flawless creamy white round unblemished A+ pearls withrose highlights graduated from 7.6mm down to 3mm. Second strand is 20 1/4" from tip of clasp to tip ofclasp with 98 flawless creamy white round unblemished A+ pearls with rose highlights graduated from 7.6mm down to 3mm These are the natural high luster pearls of yesterday, grown in Japan and untreated in any way. Ornate Sterling Clasp with one fine 4mm pearl and a side safety clasp, marked with the M in the clamshell shield (or oyster shell) and the letter S in a square to denote Sterling. Clasp measures just under 1/2" to just under 3/". This necklace has not been restrung and comes to you, the winner of this auction, with the original silk thread. The necklace comes in the red leather Mikimoto necklace case which fits inside the red Mikimoto embossed box. Pearl is so reflective, that you can see the reflection of the rings in the mirror-like surface of the nacre! My model does not want her front photographed so this necklace is show worn on her back. I have more photos and can take more photos if you would like, just email with questions and photo requests and I will try to accommodate. The necklace is clean and shiny and does not require polish, however if you wish to have it professionally polished, I would recommend your going to a fine jeweler. Item will be shipped insured and the safest possible way, with signature confirmation. I am trying to revise my listing to include sales to England, Canada and Australia but I may have to charge additional shipping for these countries. If you are from these countries, please understand that shipping insured, and registered mail may cost a bit more to your hometown. Please contact me first so I can give you a price on Shipping! In the sixth photo, (with the half a clasp and the two largest pearls showing in the center), you can see the reflection of pearls in the pearls behind them.
