Offering the pictured "Ike" from a local estate. It is in good condition having been well stored. I find no moth damage, no discoloration, or any other obvious flaws. The patches on each shoulder have brilliant color and are embroidered. The other patches on the sleeves look to be machine embroidered. The medals on the collar have US on one and a pair of crossed rifles on the other. They have a threaded post in the center and are held on with a round nut that screws on. I spoke with a family member and was given some history of the soldier that wore this jacket. I will provide the name and location to the winning bidder. The soldier entered the service in 1942 and retired in 1962. I am not certain when he would have worn the jacket or the loose items. The gentleman I spoke with told me t were many other uniforms that were discarded over the years due to age and storage issues. All that remained are the items pictured in this listing and a pair of jump boots which the owner just would not part with. He plans to "take them to the grave". I am going to include the pictured loose items that were in one of the jacket pockets at no additional charge. The loose items are a pin with a rifle and a star on top, an embroidered oval patch (approx. 1 1/2" X 2 1/2") with a parachute with wings in the center, a metal pin that looks like the parachute
