This is a very nice sword/scabbard.Handle has shark/ray skin wrapped with brass wire.Handle has 2 flowers, one on side one at top.I don't know what kind of flower, but it has been suggested that they might be,Dog wood, maybe Magnolia or Cherry blossom.The handle has a safety latch to hold scabbard in place.The scabbard itseld is beautiful,looks like and feels like leather, with 2 metal pieces near top with flowers on both sides.Then at the bottom metal tip with flowers. Needs cleaning.the leather has paint loss.27-1/2" long. The sword 26" long handle about 5-1/2" wide. Underside of handle has flowers with leaves.T is a leather peice at handle and sword.T is a makers mark but I can't make it out.One is under the little scroll. The other is near the blade. Sword needs cleaning.Blade has nic's and scratchs. Point good. Please ask questions. Good luck bidders!!!
