Mill Creek Studios "Turnabout" This beautiful deer is an early Stephen Herrero sculpture from Mill Creek Studios, long since RETIRED. Posed in the midst of looking back over its shoulder (hence the name), the buck evokes an image of power and pride, yet with the wariness of a wild creature ready to make a dash for safety. It is in excellent condition, displayed in a smoke-free, low-light environment since its purchase (original owner) in 1998. This piece is a Limited Edition, #59 of only 1,200 cast. Certificate of Authenticity, in its original plastic sleeve, is included. The bottom is signed by Stephen Herrero, who is one of Mill Creek Studios' most enduring and popular artists. It originally retailed for $296 in 1998. It is so rare that I have been unable to get any search hits on the Internet. Retirement was confirmed by a phone call to Mill Creek, w "Turnabout" had been closed out for so long that it had fallen off the active retirement list on their web site.
