You are bidding on one Millers Falls #67 open throat wood router plane as pictured.It is marked "MILLERS FALLS No 67 MADE IN USA" on the body. Owner "USVR" scratched their initials on the knob shown on the left in the first picture. Overall length is about 8-3/8", which is larger than the Stanley 71 or 71-1/2 router.This router is japanned. It has one cutter which measures about 1/2" in width.It also has the rod and plate to convert it to a closed throat router, which is often missing.Condition is very good, better with a light cleaning. The tops of the wood knobs show some light wear, and the base and the other bare iron surfaces show a light patina, but no pitting. T are no cracks or chips or chunks missing from any of the castings, and everything operates properly.SHIPPING: 3 pounds when boxed. (see below if you are bidding outside the US) The queue is overflowing with tools right now, as they seem to be finding me faster than I can list them. I tend to rotate back and forth between groups of metal planes and parts for them, and then groups of American and British molding planes, and then back to metallic planes again. But every so often I sneak in something else, such as chisels and gouges, bevels and squares and gauges, books about tools and reprint catalogs, and a variety of other tools. So I might not have any chisels for a month, and then have 30 or 40 chisels all listed at the same time. So please keep watching my auctions! And if you, like me, are tired of the disappointments as a shopper -- misleading descriptions and poor photographs, "fine" tools that turned out to be repainted when you got them, non original parts that weren't mentioned, and poor packaging, -- then I encourage you to follow my auctions. I come from the handshake school of doing business, and hopefully you are like me and understand what that means. ETHICS IN DESCRIPTIONS: I also buy for my collecting on eBay, and I have been burned too many times by misleading (duh did I forget to mention .......) descriptions, and auctions with pictures only of the left side because the right side was trashed. Life is much simpler for me if I disclose what I know or see about an item before you bid, and especially before you receive it in the mail. If I have added or replaced a part, I will tell you. If I think the wedge on a molding plane is not original, I will tell you. If I think a japanned plane has been repainted, I will tell you. What goes around, comes around. RETURN POLICY: I believe that if you give honest descriptions, and include enough pictures, you shouldn't need a return policy. However, that doesn't mean that I won't make an occasional mistake. Please bid with the assurance that if I have made an error in my listing, I WILL take care of you. INSURANCE WHEN SHIPPING INSIDE THE US: The eBay policy about insurance changed dramatically in 2009. You may have noticed that insurance is no longer an option for the buyer as it used to be. Instead the burden is now on the shipper (me) to guarantee that it gets to you, and if I buy insurance, it is for my protection. Within the US, I have a great track record of getting your purchase to you intact, and I only buy (and charge) for insurance as items approach $100 in value.
