Welcome Vintage Carnival Glass Collectors! Take a look - this isn't your every day Carnival Glass! Up for auction from a gorgeous, old estate is a VERY BEAUTIFUL, old 9" MILLERSBURG RADIUM GREEN FLEUR DE LIS FOOTED, RUFFLED BOWL. IT IS STUNNING! The iridescence is STRIKING and t is TONS OF COLOR. A very beautiful blue iridescence. Exceptional! It has what I call that special "MILLERSBURG GLEAM". TAKE A LOOK AT THIS BOWL FOLKS! Country Kitchen on the exterior. The owner was an avid Carnival Glass Collector with over 400 pieces in their collection. This piece has been well cared for and VERY PROUDLY DISPLAYED! This old beauty is AWESOME in every way! It is a showcase piece! No cracks, chips, or repairs. The only things mentionable on this bowl at all are some very minor fleabites on the points of the feet. Very common on a piece like this. Nothing unusual. The largest one is the size of the end of a pen. (pictured) Takes nothing away from this high quality piece! I see no bubbles. I looked over the interior of this bowl, very closely, four times and can find absolutely no damage at all to the face of this bowl. It is clean! You can reference this piece in David Doty's Updated 1998 Guide on page 60. The overall color of the bowl is UNBELIEVABLE! The radium iridescence is AWESOME! The mold is VERY crisp. I think the pictures say it all....please take a look at them. At least I hope they do it justice as this piece is hard to represent properly. The pictures were taken in natural light...NO FLASH! This piece is so beautiful and has been extremely well cared for. A FANTASTIC example of MILLERSBURG QUALITY, this pattern/shape and this color! For those of you new to Carnival Glass, I guarantee you this is a 100% authentic early 1900's antique. I deal in Carnival Glass a lot and you can rest assured this is the highest of quality. A PIECE TO BE ADMIRED! IT REALLY STANDS OUT! You will absolutely be hard pressed to EVER find another one in better condition! You will love it! This is a spectacular piece and this is as excellent of an example as you will likely EVER see! It deserves the highest consideration from serious collectors!
