Millersburg Carnival Glass Hanging Cherries Butter Dish - MINT - Description : This Millersburg Carnival Glass Hanging Cherries Butter Dish is a beautiful iridescent green and is an old, early 1900's pattern in mint condition. The iridescent finish is extraordinary with a gold, purple and coppery glow over deep green glass. The cherries are lush and hang over the dome butter lid. The knob on the lid is more a solid green color. History : The first carnival glass was produced in the U.S. in the early 1900's. The Millersburg Company was started by John Fenton in Millersburg, Ohio in 1909 and the company went bankrupt in 1911. Size: Bottom: 7 Inches in Diameter - About 6 Inches in Height Condition : Excellent Condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Very hard to find both pieces in such good condition with such wonderful iridescent color.Fabulous! A wonderful addition to your carnival glass collection.Thanks for looking...
