This is a vintage Flower Iron. It was heated on a burner and pressed into silk fabric to create beautiful silk flowers for millinery applications. A wonderful collectible and true historical artifact. The sculpt highly detailed, clean and crisp. Age patina but no damage/dings to metal. Handle is solid and sturdy, no splits or warping. This item measures 11 3/4" in length and 4 1/4" in width. It weighs approx. 11 lbs. Shipping costs are est. to be around $15. Given the weight of the item, buyer must agree to a shipping price revision if shipping/insurance comes out to be more.
