MINERAL IDENTIFICATION KIT, includes 8 Hardness Picks to scratch test from Mohs 2 thru 9, Streak Plate to test streak color, Magnet, 3.5 & 5.5 Hardness Plates & Grindstone to sharpen picks. Comes with instructions, Hardness Tables and a very nice Wooden case. The case measures 7" X 1.75" X 2.75" so it fits easily into your fanny pack or back pack so it's there when you need it. Made in the USA by Mineralab, this is a top quality field tool that you'll never be without once you've used it. PICKS & PLATES TO RT. OF BOX ARE FROM MY KIT TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE. YOU WILL RECEIVE THE NEW KIT ON THE LEFT.
