This is a very nice specimen consisting of a mass of small blue crystals of the rare copper phosphate mineral CORNETITE from its type locality of The Star of Congo Mine, Lubumbashi, Congo. The specimen is 3.3 by 2.6 cms in size. Note that you may greatly reduce your per item shipping cost by acquiring more specimens from my auction items since I consolidate shipping and up to 8 specimens can be shipped for the same flat $4.50 shipping and handling cost in the USA using first class mail plus $0.50 for each additional specimen over 8. For Canada, shipping and handling by Air mail is $4.50 for up to 3 items plus $0.50 for each additional item over 3. For all other countries. shipping is by Air Mail and is $5.00 for up to 2 items plus an additional $1.50 for each additional item over 2. Insurance is available in the USA only and is $1.65 for up to $50. Insurance is optional but seller will not be responsible for lost or damaged items if uninsured.
