Coal Miner's Oil Wick Lamp This lamp came from a long ago closed store building in a Colorado mining town The store was owned and operated by my mother and father many years ago. MY DESCRIPTION: Lamp is new/old ( never been used) It has minor rust and tarnish but no dents or holes and lid hinge works great. I can make out Star GRIER BROS PITTSBURG. PA on this lamp ( I know but that's the way it's spelled ) This lamp stands 2 7/8 in. tall I have more than one of these lamps and will be taking pictures of each, the wick lamp pictured in this auction is the actual lamp that will be sent to the winning bid for this auction I am by no means an expert on any of these items but I can tell you they are very old and are authentic I used soap & water with a soft brush to clean off many years of dirt & grime. As you can see in the photos they could still be cleaned and polished a lot more. They are in great condition considering they have been under that old building for who knows how many years!
