Folks, this is the new Mini Backpacker made by Colorado Gold Sticks. These babies are killer because they have the same exact guts as the bigger models. They are made from heavy duty 18 gauge aircraft aluminum. The width is 5 Inches ...the sides are 2.5 inches, and the length is 35 inches opened, and only 24 Inches when closed...with the flare being 12 Inches wide. These backpackers are designed to find just as much gold as the bigger models made by Colorado Gold Sticks. This unit has many new features including..water fins to direct the water toward the middle as well as a water ramp, and also only 1/2 inch ripples. Please notice the shrivvle tray under the water ramp...this dislodges the gold as the rocks roll over it. It then hits 3 ripples, and goes over 1/8 inch punch plate. Under all those metals is miners carpet to catch any and all fine Gold. No Gold can escape out the sides, and no swoop ripples here. They do not work for Colorado because our Gold is soo light. So we designed what is called super catch ripples. They work terrific for very light GOLD, we have increased our take of fine Gold by 1 & 1/2 grams using this setup per day.
