This type of suspension cone tool is for removing or refitting the front rubber suspension cones, it has IMPERIAL and METRIC threads (2 interchangable ends)....this fits early ( pre 1976) UNF type thread suspension cones and the later metric cones too ..... Can be used on all Minis with 'dry' suspension from 1959 to 2001. This fits the cones we sell. Please make sure the threads in the cone are cleaned and lubricated first and they are threaded in at least 1/2 an inch, otherwise you can pull the threads out and its back to the drawing board then...!!
