You are looking at a 4" Baule Maskette or Lintel piece on a custom wood stand. I have not seen another object like this; so I cannot be more specific as to use or age; although the wood underneath the surface seems old and oxidized, as you can see from the close up photo #5. From the back of the "mask" t seems to be an area that looks as if something was removed; or maybe this "mask" was removed from something, a chair, door or lintel perhaps? A very attractive piece that would make a nice addition to anyone's miniature collection. NO RESERVE!
