Although the Seth Thomas Clock Company created many different case styles, this mini-cornice and column was undoubtedly one of the most sought-after. Reasons for its popularity is the bold Rosewood veneering on the case (see photograph); the "S" "T" hands and the "Bombay" style pediments on the case bottom (see photograph). This honey is as clean as they come. In fact the only thing that isn't exactly as it was in 1875 when it came out of the factory in Plymouth is the few paint chips on the dial and a tiny chip or two out of the veneer. Grab it fast if you want to own one of the nicest models Seth Thomas ever produced.
