The book has purple and gold decorated card covers within which are pages, complete with numerous illustrations, detailing the history of the monarch of England starting with William the Conqueror and ending with Queen Victoria It has a frontispeice showing THE NEW HOUSES OF PARLIMENT and concludes with Queen Victoria on the throne. Usually later copies of this book with king George as the reigning monarch appear, but this is an earlier and scarcer version.
