Great miniature of the Native American tipi. This handcrafted tipi kit is probably the most accurate model you will find anyw Dimensions are approx. 16" across and 24" height (the 24 inch height includes the lodge poles). This kit includes fabric, lodge poles, lacing pins, imitation sinew and 24 step instructions with 29 illustrations for assembly. Great for 1" scale miniature hobbyists, parent/child educational projects, scout projects or for Indian lore enthusiasts looking for more than just a toy replica. When you finish this project, you will have the knowledge necessary to erect a full size tipi. While a person with intermediate craft skills can assemble this kit in approximately an hour, you will be surprised by the precision necessary to erect what looks like a very simple lodge. What we’re trying to get across is “It’s Not as Easy as It Looks”!!! Erecting a tipi is both a science and an art usually passed on from one generation to the next.
