This is used miniature Steiff Teddy Bear with Christeningoutfit and the tag. Button in ear. Made of Mohair. Steiff Margaret Strong cinnamon mohair Christening Bear, USA Exclusive, 1986-87, yellow tag 0155/15, swing labels, This bear measures just less than 4" in height. It is in excellent condition with no visible flaws or repairs. Its head, arms and legs are articulated. "The Baby Bear born to the Bride & Groom of two years ago, is ready for its Christening. A long flowing gown makes it a classic outfit for the occasion. The Christening Bear outfit is adapted from the archives of the Strong Museum, located in Rochester, New York. This museum is based on the vast collection of its late benefactor Margaret Woodbury Strong, a conscientious collector who acquired more than 300,000 items that represent life in the period of 1820-1940. The Teddy Bear is in very good condition.
