Mini Moog Model D in very good condition overall. Serial number is 11877. The wooden case and keyboard are in good condition, the audio outputs (both high and low) are clean and noise-free, power cord is intact and non-frayed, and ALL CONTROLS AND KEYS ARE INTACT AND FULLY OPERATIONAL. All knobs, switches and keys are original. The control panel is cosmetically near-perfect, the keyboard plays very well, the wooden case has some cosmetic flaws, and scratches. This synth was owned at one time by Carding Cruz, Jr., a well-known keyboardist from the Phillipines. His name is still lightly visible on the wooden strip beneath the control panel. All analog synths (esp. MiniMoogs) have their own unique character and sound - this one is marvelous, fat and full, with a nice "bite" to it. The switches and pots and keyboard have been cleaned, knobs also removed and cleaned and the machine is GREAT sounding. The keyboard plays well, I would perhaps have the keyboard re-bushed if I were going to keep it. All analogs benefit from periodic calibration and internal check as well, I recommended that this be done, but everything is working, with no "scratchy" pots or "sticky" keys. I purchased this synth in person from recording artist and composer Mark Nilan in Los Angeles. It has since been very lightly used in a home studio.
